Are you ready to use your Data Science skills to make a real impact in the Finance & Risk Data Domain? Do you thrive on Python, GenAI, Spark, Databricks, ML and Azure? If so, then this role in the AI Strategy Team is an interesting position for you.

Responsibilities

Spot opportunities, experiment iteratively and turn promising ideas into valuable, scalable (Gen)AI products.
Build and shape AI solutions used across the organisation (examples include data quality optimization models, automated reporting, and client distress signalling).
Involve stakeholders from the start and work iteratively to deliver usable solutions.
Work as a pragmatic developer focusing on simple, maintainable solutions and take ownership of delivered work.

Working environment

You will join the Finance & Risk Data Domain, part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG). The domain employs 200+ international professionals and works with an Agile operating model.
You are part of the AI Strategy Team in the Centre of Expertise Advanced Analytics & Artificial Intelligence department and report to the Business Lead CoE AA & AI.
The atmosphere is described as dynamic, open and informal. Teams work in multidisciplinary settings and follow Scrum/DevOps practices.

Requirements

Experience: the posting references 3+ years of experience in Data Science or AI Engineering (and elsewhere lists 5+ years overall).
Technical skills: hands-on experience with Python, Spark, SQL, Databricks, Azure, basic ML models, pipeline structuring and optimization techniques.
Familiarity or interest in Generative AI (GenAI) and advanced analytics/AI topics.
Able to translate business challenges into workable AI models and explain complex topics clearly.
Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with (senior) stakeholders.
Experience working in and/or with Scrum/DevOps teams.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, structured working style, ownership mentality, and a learning mindset.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

We are offering

Salary: € 5.847 - € 8.353 pm
Benefit Budget of 11% of your salary (can be paid out monthly if unused in the Benefit Shop).
Five weeks of vacation per year with an option to buy up to four additional weeks.
Personal development budget of € 1,000 per year (accumulable up to € 3,000).
