We are currently looking for a Data Security Consultant who will be part of the team within ING Hubs Slovakia. The purpose of this team is independent execution of various activities related to IT security and IT risk lifecycle management of selected business applications with support from a technical DevOps team and IT security team.
Because ING provides various IT services, we do not expect you to know everything. Due to this fact, it will be crucial to have willingness to learn many new topics.
We would like to welcome a smart and IT-enthusiastic person who will have the following competences and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Act as supportive function to Asset Owners and IT-Custodians
- Deliver high-quality and punctual evidence securing Asset Governance aspects
- Assist Asset Owners and IT-Custodians to guarantee security and compliance of the assets
- Coordinate and complete regular tasks required to ensure necessary controls are in place
- Coordinate and manage communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Support and complete the various artifacts/documents within Asset Owner Accountability
- Support process improvements within the team and be responsible for deliveries in the field of subject matter with minimal guidance
Requirements
- Fluency in English
- At least 1 year experience in IT or at least 1 year transferable experience
- IT experience in IT security or IT risk management or IT compliance
- Experience with enterprise-level IT processes
- Ability to handle large quantities of information and work in a dynamic environment
- Strong follow-up skills on tasks/actions
- Ability to cooperate with people of different levels inside/outside the company and interact with teams to reach goals and business objectives
- Ability to empower others to achieve results through motivation, recognition and performance feedback
- Ability to express information appropriately to different audiences and to lead negotiations
- Ability to overcome resistance, work in short sprints, and collaborate closely with diverse teams
- Willingness to learn new topics and adapt quickly to change
Compensation (gross)
- Minimum basic wage component: 1,870 EUR/month (this is the legally required basic wage component). Final financial conditions will be discussed and negotiated during the interview, but not less than the mentioned minimum salary component.

- Full time
- Daily working time: 7 hrs 45 min (instead of standard 8 hrs)
