At NVIDIA, we’re solving the world’s most challenging problems with our unique approach to accelerated computing. We are looking for passionate technologists with cloud-native quantum expertise to define strategic partnerships, lead collaborations, drive SDK adoption, and evangelize the NVIDIA platform for cloud-native engineering with developers and customers. This role focuses on engaging with the ecosystem — attending conferences, holding meetups, building a network of influencers — and providing clear feedback to product teams about gaps and customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop quantum computing developer and ISV strategy in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Applied Research teams.
- Lead strategic relationships with universities and academic research groups.
- Evangelize and directly engage target collaborators (developers, customers, academic researchers, ISVs).
- Discover high-impact problems NVIDIA can uniquely solve to create new market paradigms.
- Drive early adoption of new products and support launch and go-to-market activities.
- Host developer and customer evangelism events: meetups, hackathons, lectures.
- Speak at relevant scientific, technical, and industry conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, or a related engineering field (Masters or Ph.D. preferred).
- 8+ years of experience overall.
- Extensive background in Quantum Information Science with ~5 years experience in the Quantum Computing industry.
- Meaningful experience in a technical leadership role.
- World-class communication skills with demonstrated ability to articulate a value proposition to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Domain knowledge sufficient to map customer technologies to internally developed libraries, tools, algorithms, and SDKs and to provide actionable feedback to product teams.
Ways to stand out
- Hands-on experience in scientific computing, high-performance computing, applied machine learning, or deep learning.
- Background in software development, particularly scientific software development.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range (by level):
- Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD
- Level 5: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD
- Eligible for equity and benefits (see NVIDIA benefits page).
Additional information
- The Quantum Computing organization is small, visible, and strategic within NVIDIA; the role requires a self-starting leader with both technical and relationship skills.
- Applications accepted at least until July 29, 2025.
- NVIDIA is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in hiring and promotion practices.
