• Gross monthly salary between EUR 4,516 and EUR 6,449 (scale 09) for a 36 hour week

DevOps Engineer with a love for data

The Area Engineering Journey makes all the difference for the Engineer. The tools and services Engineers use must be easy to find, reusable, and compliant by design allowing them to focus on creating the right solutions. We are actively setting up a Service Store that makes it easy to find, use, and reuse Rabobank-wide IT Services. We are working on a Radar for direct insight into those Services and focus on the communities for the right input and feedback. To do this, we will connect to a broad and complex landscape where the connections between systems, teams and people are essential.

You and your talent

You are a proactive team player with a DevOps mindset and strong affinity for data (engineering). You are a people-oriented collaborator who reasons from the users' perspective, are inspiring, make promises and keep them. You show decisiveness, courage and a continuous drive to keep improving. You have a good understanding on how to build, design and optimize data pipelines from ingestion to different kinds of storage solutions (e.g. Blob, SQL Database). Furthermore, you possess the knowledge on exposing the data via APIs or Event Streams (e.g. Kafka).

As a DevOps Engineer within the area you are at the forefront of a huge change. You will influence how every engineer within Rabobank works. You and your talent

• Academic working and thinking level;
• At least 5 years of experience in similar roles within complex IT environments;
• In-depth knowledge of the entire Azure stack;
• Designing and implementing robust Infra-As-Code solutions;
• Expertise in Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes;
• Expertise with data analysis toolsets (Databricks, Azure Synapse);
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Powershell)
• Experience with using relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres);
• Proficiency in English (business level, writing and speaking), proficiency in Dutch is a pre.
