NVIDIA is seeking a candidate to lead and scale a highly available Cloud Compute Service.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and lead a team responsible for bringing new datacenters and solutions online and implement ongoing operations to provide high levels of availability.
- Craft SLAs and critical metrics that provide a great foundation for the highest levels of service availability in a critical environment.
- Build positive relationships at multiple levels within the company, including with Hardware Engineering, Service Design and Operations teams.
- Work with peer organizations to identify and solve issues associated with service management, project management and supply chain operations.
- Find impactful ways to keep operating costs to a minimum while driving the development and implementation of effective and efficient processes.
- Identify, supervise and handle issues.
- Craft the metrics and dashboard to show the health of the Service.
Requirements
- BS or BA in technical field or equivalent experience.
- 15+ overall years handling service management and technology operations, including large-scale 24/7 cloud operations.
- At least 7 years in senior roles leading multi-functional relationships with internal and external partners.
- Proven service management experience and/or data center operations experience.
- 8+ years of demonstrated ability and successful track record handling sophisticated deployments.
- Experience with building and running high performance teams including training, mentoring and building processes that contribute to service availability.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with experience in personnel management, staffing, and scheduling for a global environment.
- Experience in project management, vendor management and agreements.
