As our Engineering Manager Platforms – Cloud & SRE, you’ll be at the heart of Eneco’s digital transformation. You’ll lead the way in building resilient, scalable, and future-proof infrastructure. Together with your team, you’ll enable our engineering organization to move faster and more reliably every day. You’ll help shape a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and learning, while staying hands-on.
Responsibilities
- Leading the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- Building robust observability, monitoring, and alerting systems
- Creating self-service platforms that empower development teams
- Establishing SLOs and ensuring reliability across services
- Driving automation to eliminate toil and increase operational efficiency
- Contributing hands-on to architectural decisions and implementation
- Mentoring and growing engineers while fostering a collaborative culture
Requirements
- Passion for scalable infrastructure, reliability, and operational excellence
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and infrastructure-as-code
- Experience leading engineering teams focused on infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and automation
- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Enthusiasm for mentoring and developing engineers
- Ability to set technical direction balancing immediate needs and long-term vision
Benefits
- Gross annual salary between €95,000 and €145,000 including FlexBudget, 8% holiday allowance, and possibly a bonus or collective profit sharing
