Details

As our Engineering Manager Platforms – Cloud & SRE, you’ll be at the heart of Eneco’s digital transformation. You’ll lead the way in building resilient, scalable, and future-proof infrastructure. Together with your team, you’ll enable our engineering organization to move faster and more reliably every day. You’ll help shape a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and learning, while staying hands-on.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines
  • Building robust observability, monitoring, and alerting systems
  • Creating self-service platforms that empower development teams
  • Establishing SLOs and ensuring reliability across services
  • Driving automation to eliminate toil and increase operational efficiency
  • Contributing hands-on to architectural decisions and implementation
  • Mentoring and growing engineers while fostering a collaborative culture

Requirements

  • Passion for scalable infrastructure, reliability, and operational excellence
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and infrastructure-as-code
  • Experience leading engineering teams focused on infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and automation
  • Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring and developing engineers
  • Ability to set technical direction balancing immediate needs and long-term vision
