Privy and Stripe: Bringing crypto to everyone

What You’ll Do

We’re looking for an Events & Field Marketer to design and drive how Privy shows up in the world.

This isn’t just a logistics role. It’s a creative and strategic one: equal parts storyteller, producer, and operator. Our goal is to shape Privy’s global presence across conferences, partner activations, dinners, and original campaigns that make wallets feel tangible and exciting. In so doing, we are actively shaping Privy’s core brand positioning and brand “feel.”

As part of this role, you understand how to speak to crypto-native communities with authenticity and creativity, bringing cultural fluency and taste. You also know how to show up differently for enterprise and fintech audiences, translating that same energy into experiences that build trust and inspire confidence.

You’ll own the full lifecycle: concept, production, amplification, and measurement. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership, design, and GTM to craft experiences that strengthen relationships, drive pipeline, and position Privy as the trusted wallet infrastructure powering mainstream crypto adoption.

As Privy’s second hire in marketing, this critical hire will also flex across marketing functions and jump into high priority workstreams as needed. An ideal fit is an events marketing specialist who is excited by a fluid startup environment and the chance to work closely with and support Privy’s Head of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute Privy’s global events strategy: spanning flagship conferences, partner activations, private dinners, in-person and virtual hackathons, and original brand campaigns that bring our story to life.
  • Create experiences that build credibility and connection from crypto-native gatherings that celebrate builders and community, to enterprise-facing activations that spark curiosity and trust. Feed learnings here back into Privy’s core brand.
  • Lead the full event lifecycle: concepting, planning, vendor management, onsite execution, amplification, and post-event reporting.
  • Develop integrated campaigns that combine events, partnerships, and targeted outreach to drive awareness, relationships, and pipeline growth.
  • Own event briefing and reporting: setting clear goals, tracking engagement, and making thoughtful recommendations on how to measure and improve impact over time.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders across sales, product marketing, partnerships, and design to ensure activations feels cohesive, intentional, and unmistakably Privy. Liaise with Stripe marketing on Privy’s role in Stripe events.
  • Manage budgets and vendors: balancing creativity with operational excellence and ensuring flawless execution within defined resources.
  • Build scalable systems and templates: from event playbooks and vendor lists to measurement frameworks, setting the foundation for a growing events function.
  • Adapt to high priority marketing workstreams. While events are the core focus of this role, be prepared to work across marketing initiatives and fill in gaps as needed.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply.

Minimum requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience across events, field, or experiential marketing, ideally in tech, fintech, or crypto.
  • A creative strategist who can concept memorable, on-brand experiences that translate complex ideas into something people can feel.
  • A strong operator: organized, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple projects, budgets, and vendors at once.
  • Fluent in both crypto-native culture and enterprise environments: you know how to speak to builders in their language, and how to translate that energy into credibility with executives.
  • Comfortable balancing brand and pipeline goals: you understand how experiences build awareness and trust while driving measurable outcomes.
  • A storyteller with taste: you care about how things look, feel, and flow, from the invite to the post-event recap.
  • Analytical and curious: you don’t need to know every KPI upfront, but you think critically about what to measure and how to improve each time.
  • Self-directed, collaborative, and adaptable: you thrive in fast-moving environments and love building frameworks that scale.
  • Hands-on and meticulous: you’re someone who isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to make sure that everything gets done, whether it’s stuffing gift bags or quarterbacking last minute schedule changes.
  • Based in (or willing to relocate to) New York City, the heartbeat of Privy’s events and community presence.

In-office expectations

Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in our Bucharest, Romania site have an 80% in-office expectation, and those in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico and Bengaluru, India work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.

Pay and benefits

The annual US base salary range for this role is $152,400 - $228,600. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
