As Expert Lead Business Developer DFC for Transaction Monitoring you will play a critical role in shaping the ICS Transaction Monitoring landscape further. The role focuses on driving long-term, strategic change to mitigate Client Integrity risks, defining TM business and data strategies, and pushing TM insights across the organization. You will operate at the intersection of Product, Operations, Compliance and IT and help prepare the TM landscape for capabilities like Machine Learning modelling and AI.

Responsibilities

  • Lead long-term, strategic change processes to improve Transaction Monitoring (TM) performance and mitigate Client Integrity risks.
  • Be responsible for specific TM policies and ensure adherence.
  • Drive the Feedback Loop process to push and pull TM insights across the organization.
  • Develop and own TM business & data strategies.
  • Execute the Risk Based Approach (RBA) for TM based on new iterations/updates of the SIRA.
  • Assess problems and challenges in a risk-based manner and keep control of risk outcomes.
  • Act with a pre-sales mentality: sell internally new functionality, technology, and political decisions.
  • Lead complex programs and cultivate a culture of Courage, Care, and Collaboration; help others grow.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a relevant area of knowledge.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, of which at least 5 years specifically with FEC policy/regulations and Transaction Monitoring.
  • Wide experience and knowledge of Transaction Monitoring, SIRA, KYC/CDD, Client Monitoring, Risk Based Approach and WWFT/FATF.
  • Experience with Systematic Integrity Risk Assessment (SIRA) updates and applying RBA in TM.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English to convey complex ideas to senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven leadership and program management experience; ability to lead change and complex programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, ownership, resilience and adaptability; ability to innovate and challenge the status quo.

Working environment

  • You will work in a dynamic environment at the intersection of Product, Operations, Compliance and IT.
  • Located in Diemen, with a hybrid working culture (typically 2 days per week in Diemen).
  • The TM Strategy team sits under the Client Integrity department and focuses on AML, Sanctions and TF risks related to the WWFT with a near-real-time TM landscape.
  • The role supports readiness for Machine Learning modelling and AI capabilities.

  • Gross monthly salary: €7.896 - €11.279 gross per month (based on a 36-hour work week; includes vacation pay and benefit budget).
