We seek a Field Applications Engineer to become part of a focused and hardworking team at NVIDIA. You will help roll out GPU products across platforms including data centers and edge computing, working with customers on system architecture and technical topics to implement NVIDIA solutions.
Responsibilities
- Be a technical specialist on GPU and networking products, directly supporting sales account managers to secure build wins.
- Establish and nurture technical relationships with engineers, management, and architects at key customer accounts.
- Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in the CSP/ODM AI market to successfully implement NVIDIA's solutions.
- Provide onsite support to solve hardware and software problems, including troubleshooting and hardware/software integration.
- Lead product lifecycle activities from design-in to end-of-life, ensuring execution and customer satisfaction.
- Develop technical solutions including hardware & software demos and example system builds.
- Deliver technical and sales training to direct sales teams and channel partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience and strong communication channels.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of work-related experience in the high-tech electronics industry, particularly in system development or technical customer support roles.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment.
- Strong ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills for coordinating complex projects.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; able to collaborate with management and engineering teams.
Ways to stand out from the crowd
- Experience with ARM and NVIDIA GPU development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming.
- Knowledge of Embedded Linux systems, APIs, and similar embedded OS.
- Experience working with OEMs in industrial, military, and ruggedized computing spaces.
- In-depth understanding of CPU architecture.
Compensation & Benefits
- Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions.
- Base salary ranges provided:
- Level 2: 108,000 USD - 178,250 USD
- Level 3: 132,000 USD - 207,000 USD
- You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
