We are looking for a Field Applications Engineer to provide onsite technical engagement for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI computing systems. This role focuses on datacenter system and network design for AI computing and involves working across internal functions and with external customers to ensure successful deployments and a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite support for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and solve complex hardware and deployment issues.
  • Act as a technical specialist on GPU and networking products, directly supporting sales account managers.
  • Work closely with teams to deliver AI datacenter solutions.
  • Establish and maintain technical relationships with customer engineers, management, and architects at focus accounts.
  • Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in the enterprise AI market.
  • Provide technical and sales training to the direct sales team and channel partners.
  • Establish strong relationships and communication channels with internal teams.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of work-related experience in the high-tech electronics industry in a system design role or technical customer support role.
  • In-depth knowledge of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other datacenter hardware.
  • Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus and to multitask effectively.
  • Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills for coordinating multiple initiatives and implementations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English; ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering.

Ways to stand out / Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with large-scale rollouts of datacenter equipment.
  • Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, RDMA, RoCE, NICs, switches.
  • C/C++ and Python programming skills.
  • Embedded Linux systems, APIs, and embedded OS knowledge.
  • Experience working with OEMs in industrial, military, or ruggedized computing spaces.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $132,000 - $207,000 USD for Level 3; $160,000 - $253,000 USD for Level 4. Final base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions.
