NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. This internship is for a Financial Analyst to join the Software Engineering FP&A team. The role is best suited for a highly motivated individual who can function in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, thrive in ambiguity, and provide data-based decision making to reduce manual workload and deliver insights to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-depth financial analysis of actual spending to drive insights into trends, investment areas, and opportunities to optimize investments.
  • Assist with forecasting OPEX & CAPEX, perform actual vs. forecast analyses, and summarize spending trends.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting packages.
  • Assist in developing forecasting models for various spend categories to understand the financial health of departments.
  • Own financial data and reports to ensure accuracy and currency.
  • Translate data and trends into actionable strategies and compelling messages.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key business partners, including Engineering and Operations teams.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Able to critically assess financial model outputs and identify potential improvements.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, especially when working under tight deadlines.
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies and eagerness for intellectual growth.
  • Solid understanding of AV operations and ability to build cost models (mentioned specifically).
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Works well in collaboration with Engineering and Operations teams.
  • Positive attitude and supportive team-player mindset.
