Information about the position

In your new role, you will become part of the Financial Operations team which together with another team of Business Analytics is part of the Vinted Go Finance and Business Analytics domain. Together the function is responsible for coordinating the growth strategy, financial planning, operational resource planning, performance measurement, and financial operations for Vinted Go.

The Financial Operations team is responsible for implementing and improving processes to achieve greater efficiency and accuracy, reduce errors and risks, and provide timely and accurate financial information to support better decision-making.

In this position, you’ll

• Actively collaborate with carriers to ensure that invoices and specifications are provided in a timely and accurate manner, and address any issues or discrepancies that arise.
• Inject data into internal systems to ensure data is accessible for further analysis.
• Analyse, check, and approve third-party vendor invoices through reconciliation, ensuring that all charges are accurate and in line with agreed-upon terms.
• Utilise data analysis tools and techniques to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies in data, and propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with group accounting, financial control, and other teams on matters related to shipping costs.
• Approve invoices within set deadlines for month-end closing procedures.

About you

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Econometrics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or a related field (equivalent working experience is also acceptable).
• 2+ years of experience in finance, data analysis, or related fields.
• Proficiency in data analysis using tools like Excel, Google Sheets. Capable to perform data manipulation, queries, and create reports is a prerequisite.
• Experience with Google BigQuery, and SQL
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to analyse and interpret large amounts of financial data to provide insights and recommendations.
• Self-starter, structured, and highly attentive to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and understand end-to-end processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to find solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and management.
• Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of financial concepts and terminology would be considered as an advantage.
• Experience with BI tools would be considered an advantage.

The salary range for this position is € 2567 - € 3467gross per month.
