About the Team
The Go To Market team is responsible for developing and implementing scalable fraud detection and review systems, conducting Trust & Safety and financial fraud investigations, and partnering cross-functionally to address customer risk, compliance, and integrity at scale.
About the Role
As a Fraud & Risk Analyst, you will develop and operate fraud detection, investigation, and risk management systems using automation, machine learning, and human-in-the-loop processes.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA. Telecommuting is permitted from within the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable fraud detection and review systems
- Utilize automation, machine learning, and human-in-the-loop processes to prioritize high-risk and high-prevalence cases
- Conduct Trust & Safety and financial fraud investigations and resolve customer risks through root cause analysis and long-term remediation
- Conduct data analysis and investigations using internal and third-party data to build operational metrics and monitoring systems
- Drive continuous improvement in fraud detection models and risk management systems
- Incubate product launch integrity reviews in collaboration with Safety Systems Engineers, Research, Product, and Policy teams
- Collaborate with Safety Systems Engineers, Research, Product, and Policy teams to create and refine policies targeting specific risk vectors and ensure global regulatory compliance
- Develop Quality Assurance measurement programs and improve target operational metrics
- Build technical architectures to enable scalable vendor review systems
- Create technical training programs addressing emerging risks in Artificial Intelligence and operational workflows
Requirements
- Experience developing or operating fraud detection and risk management systems
- Familiarity with automation and machine learning techniques applied to fraud/risk detection
- Experience conducting Trust & Safety and financial fraud investigations and root cause analysis
- Strong data analysis skills using internal and third-party data to create operational metrics and monitoring systems
- Experience with QA measurement programs and improving operational targets
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Safety Systems Engineering, Research, Product, Policy)
Compensation Range
$185,000 to $275,000 per year
