Details
The Enterprise Agents team is scaling OpenAI with OpenAI. We apply our latest models to real-world problems to assist with or automate work across the company and share learnings back to product and research teams. The team builds an ecosystem of automation products used across customer operations, workplace, and engineering. The focus is on fast prototyping and building for reliable long-term impact with simple, generic patterns applicable across domains.
Responsibilities
- Own the full product development lifecycle for new platform capabilities and product experiences end-to-end.
- Collaborate closely with internal customers to understand their problems and implement effective solutions.
- Work with the research team to share relevant feedback and iterate on applying their latest models.
- Build production-ready platform architecture that integrates new technologies and paradigms.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional engineering experience (excluding internships) in relevant roles at tech and product-driven companies.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, React, and other web technologies.
- Proficiency with a backend language (the team uses Python).
- Some experience with relational databases such as Postgres/MySQL.
- Interest in AI/ML (direct experience not required).
- Product-minded: ability to see the big picture while attending to details that define great products.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-growing, product-driven companies by navigating loosely defined tasks and managing competing priorities.
- Former founder or early engineer at a startup who has built a product from scratch is a plus.
