Information about the position

As a Future Careers Lead, you will play a key role in developing and evolving our future careers strategy to ensure the business is equipped with the right capabilities and talent for the years ahead. Working in close partnership with senior stakeholders, you will lead the design and delivery of future careers programmes that align with our long-term business needs. You will focus on shaping and executing attraction strategies that position the company as a destination for future talent, building strong, diverse pipelines through targeted outreach, partnerships, and brand initiatives. While strategy, programme design, and business alignment will be at the heart of your role, you will also be responsible for ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all participants and stakeholders involved.

In this position, you’ll

  • Together with the TA director, co-create and drive the Future Careers strategy and ensure its fulfilment
  • Partner with business and People leaders to understand future capability needs and translate them into impactful future careers programmes
  • Design, launch, and continuously evolve programmes that support early careers and emerging talent
  • Build and execute sustainable and inclusive attraction strategies and hiring processes to ensure strong, diverse pipelines of future talent
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with schools, universities, and educational institutions
  • Develop new future careers initiatives to proactively address the evolving needs of the business
  • Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of programmes and attraction strategies through feedback, data, and industry best practices
  • Champion future careers programmes internally and externally, ensuring strong engagement from participants, leaders, and key stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, creating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and impact
  • Stay informed on future work trends, skills demand, and market insights to keep our programmes forward-looking and competitive

About you

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering future careers or similar programmes within a complex organisation
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition, particularly in attraction, hiring, and building talent pipelines
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across multiple functions and levels
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and align diverse internal and external audiences
  • Experience in leading or mentoring teams, with strong collaboration and leadership capabilities
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate long-term business needs into practical talent solutions
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering high-impact initiatives in dynamic environments
  • Passion for developing early talent and supporting their professional growth
  • Excellent English language skills (both written and spoken)
