The expected salary for this position: 13000 - 28000 PLN

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience/knowledge with GCP
  • Built data platforms on top of GCP using managed services like Cloud Run, Vertex AI, GKE, BigQuery, Dataproc, etc.
  • Infrastructure as Code mindset (we use Terraform)
  • Deployment and provisioning automation tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
  • Programming: Golang skills (Python is nice to have)
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting
  • Ability to clearly express ideas, facts, and opinions; experience elaborating complex ideas as part of design pages
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls

You’ll get extra points for

  • Knowledge in secure authentication and encrypted workloads (OIDC, KMS, client/server SSL/TLS, etc.)

Information about the squad

As a GCP Platform Engineer, you will help develop the data-driven products that the Data & Analytics organization builds. Within the organization, we use agile, lean and design thinking methodologies to launch new initiatives within or outside of ING.

ING is now building its Data Analytics Platform in Google Cloud to help ING be even more data driven. This is a joined effort between ING units, and you will be part of a distributed, multinational and multicultural team.

Your passion is to work with the latest technologies that make working with large amounts of data easy; you are proactive in keeping yourself up to date and trying everything out. You also enjoy laying the architectural foundations for the things you are working on while aligning the business problem with the right technology. You combine forward thinking and a hands-on attitude. You can identify areas for team growth and help them get there. You will work in a team with highly skilled people and enjoy a creative atmosphere where experimentation is encouraged.
