This role is responsible for designing, managing and optimising HR reporting and Business Intelligence solutions to support Global HR decision-making. You will translate stakeholder requirements into clear, multi-source dashboards, reconcile data from multiple sources, and ensure data management standards are applied.

Responsibilities

  • Design, manage, and optimise reporting tools selected by ING, ensuring use of standardized catalogues and user guidance so reports are understood and adopted by users.
  • Ensure stakeholder requirements are understood, addressed and developed promptly.
  • Foster an open, collaborative accountability culture within the team; collaborate with colleagues and other teams and act on team input.
  • Provide advice on complex questions around reporting dashboards and benchmarking, reconciling data from multiple sources and complying with data management aspects (governance, protection, retention, quality, etc.).
  • Ensure implementation of Data Management Process Control Standards and best practices in Global HR, including consumption of data from Data Lakes and introduction of new BI foundation.
  • Act as a bridging point between Global HR and key stakeholders, balancing business needs and technical constraints.

Requirements

  • Capability to manage Business Intelligence and/or advanced reporting demands and priorities, preferably in a corporate international environment.
  • Outstanding conceptual and analytical skills; ability to tell stories via data visualization.
  • Ambitious, willingness to drive change, ability to challenge authority and speak up, strong prioritization and planning skills.
  • Skilled in Business Intelligence solutions (such as Prism, Power BI or Cognos) and O365 tools.
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing).

  • University degree or equivalent (preferably in Technology, Economics or Business Management).
  • Specialist knowledge of Workday Reporting.
  • Familiarity with human resources practices, processes and organizational structures.
  • Excellent consultancy skills; able to craft findings and recommendations in the business language of stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with data management roles and responsibilities.
  • Senior stakeholder management skills.
  • Presentation and facilitation skills; proactive and detail oriented; strong team collaboration skills.

Team information

The Global HR Data Management team is accountable for generating and maintaining reporting solutions that describe Global HR core metrics and processes to facilitate senior management data-based decision making. The team runs Global HR BI activities for delivery and transformation initiatives, steers definition of standardized reporting catalogues from Workday (and other tools), and decides on business change requests about reporting.

You will be part of a team managing reporting capability in COO People, providing stakeholders with reporting solutions on employee data from Global HR sources of record. The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be "Data Management Expert III".
