As Global Implementation Manager you are a project manager who is responsible for implementing Transaction Services products and services (Payments, Cash Management, Trade, Working Capital Solutions and Factoring) for our internationally operating Corporate and FI customers. These implementations are completed by means of professional, efficient, and structured project management. You act as a SPOC towards ING’s main corporate clients and you are coordinating between ING’s operations, sales, relationship management, international Wholesale banking network and TS products and Channels.
The Global Implementation manager strives to implement products or onboard new clients in an effective client focused and timely manner. He/She is in control of the milestones that need to be taken to successfully finalize the implementation/onboarding and hand the client over to the client service teams for daily support. The Global Implementation manager is able to manage 10-12 projects at once in different stages. The Global Implementation manager is in close contact with the client and makes sure that the client is getting the best client experience during the implementation/onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Act as single point of contact (SPOC) for clients during implementation/onboarding phases.
- Manage implementation projects for Transaction Services products (Payments, Cash Management, Trade, Working Capital Solutions, Factoring).
- Coordinate between operations, sales, relationship management, international Wholesale banking network, TS products and channels.
- Control and drive project milestones to finalize implementations and hand over to client service teams.
- Manage 10–12 projects concurrently at different stages.
- Lead meetings and coordinate activities of cross-organizational implementation teams.
- Lead testing and solution validation efforts to ensure solutions meet client expectations and contractual obligations.
- Ensure effective transition from project to production.
- Contribute to RFPs from an implementation perspective.
- Operate under KYC guidelines and ensure compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to implementation of enhancements.
Requirements
- Strong client focus and drive for quality and standardization in a client-centric culture.
- Proven track record of successful implementations of complex, multi-product deals for major corporate/public sector clients.
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders at different levels (treasury executives, shared service center employees, finance managers, third party vendors).
- Experience managing international projects.
- Certified in Project Management skills or interest to get certified.
- In-depth knowledge of Transaction Services products, services, and processes.
- Experience with clients' accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Familiarity with developments in treasury area of corporate clients (centralization, treasury management systems, bank integrations).
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to use different communication styles depending on the situation.
- Flexible, able to cope with stressful situations, and a getting-things-done mentality.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Languages: English fluent (main working language). French and German are a plus.
Work environment / Additional details
- Location: Bratislava.
- Time type: Full time.
- Daily working time: 7 hrs 45 min (instead of standard 8 hrs).
- You will work in an international environment; within the team English is the main language and internal correspondence is mainly in English.
- Open and informal culture; frequent contact with clients and various internal and external departments.
- You will be part of the deal team and contribute to RFPs from an implementation point of view.
Compensation
- Wage (gross): 2669 EUR/month (this is the minimum basic wage component; final financial conditions will be discussed and negotiated at interview, however not less than the mentioned minimum).
