The position of Sr. Global CEM Sourcing and Business Manager is part of the CEM Business and Cost Management team and will facilitate and influence the global sourcing strategies of CEM business. This role aims to drive CEM (EMS) partners to deliver value in supply chain operations, improve supplier performance, and negotiate competitive solutions while decreasing overhead resource requirements in a rapidly growing business.
Responsibilities
- Recognized CEM business manager with management contacts in EMS industry and other key vendors.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills to guide decisions; be highly collaborative and possess technical experience operating within a global supply chain, with extensive experience in Asia and North America.
- Develop initiatives to successfully transform supply chain operations and lead EMS engagements, creating value for other operations and engineering teams.
- Embrace clear and direct communication and feedback to ensure ongoing CEM business management.
- Focus on performance while effectively leading across organizational boundaries and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Manage the performance of CEM partners using a balanced scorecard within Supply Chain Operations to achieve company priorities and goals.
- Identify strategic business leverage, lead CEM cost negotiations, manage quote activities, and align product costs to targets using visibility tools for Finance, Engineering, and Business Units.
- Drive innovation across functions to create reliable and agile supply chains supporting aggressive Speed of Light project schedules.
- Make concentrated efforts during NPI to achieve leading time-to-market targets by establishing supplier selection criteria, qualifying new suppliers, and driving supplier selection in collaboration with Engineering.
Requirements
- 10+ years of supply chain operations experience, particularly in sourcing and CEM business management in the high-tech industry or a related field.
- Extensive CEM business management experience, building and engaging with global ODM, JDM, and CEM partners.
- BA / BS or equivalent experience (Masters preferred); technical degree is a plus.
- Experience in PCBA and System Integration is a plus.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, especially in the manufacturing outsourced environment.
- Strong communications and influencing skills when working with engineering, finance, business units, and other supply chain functions.
- High degree of integrity, initiative, and attention to detail.
- Experience in product cost modeling and its impact on financial outcomes.
- A start-up mindset, process-oriented, and hands-on attributes.
- Aspiration to manage a small group in the future.

The base salary range is 132,000 USD - 218,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
