Details

NVIDIA's Architecture Modelling group is hiring architects and software developers to work on modeling, analysis, and validation of GPU and SoC architectures and features. You'll collaborate with world-class architects to design and implement models, tools, tests, and validation infrastructure that push the state of the art in performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Model and analyze graphics and/or SoC algorithms and features.
  • Work in a matrixed environment across modelling teams to document, design, and develop tools to analyze, simulate, validate, and verify models.
  • Familiarize yourself with the different models (functional and performance) used at NVIDIA and help with feature implementation as required.
  • Develop tests, test plans, and testing infrastructure for new architectures/features.
  • Perform code coverage analysis and reporting.
  • Mentor younger engineers and help sustain good coding practices.
  • Learn about newer modelling techniques and frameworks, evaluate best solutions, and drive change with your manager.
  • Help develop AI-based tools to increase efficiency.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a BS, MS, or PhD (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming ability in C++ and C; good understanding of build systems (CMake, make), toolchains (GCC, MSVC), and libraries (STL, Boost).
  • Computer architecture background; modeling experience with SystemC & TLM preferred.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Python, and Perl.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a distributed team environment.

Compensation and Additional Information

  • Base salary ranges (determined by location, experience, and comparable pay):
    • Level 2: 120,000 USD - 189,750 USD
    • Level 3: 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD
  • You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
