The department Finance & Risk Business GRIDs delivers Finance and Risk services to stakeholders (Group Finance, Risk Management, Legal and Internal Audit). Services encompass operations and change activities for Accounting and Reporting in Finance, Credit Risk, Central Risk Management, Financial Restructuring & Recovery, Risk Modelling, I&ORM, SIM and Compliance in Risk Management and Legal, Corporate Office and Internal Audit in the CEO domain. These services include systems, processes, data and information management & analytics capabilities with embedded controls and required documentation. Change activities are delivered in alignment with the bank strategy and the Finance & Risk Strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership of the Grid Non-Financial Risk (NFR); translate NFR strategy into concrete objectives and priorities for the Grid.
  • Lead and own the design and implementation of Non-Financial Risk changes, systems and process support for NFR stakeholders.
  • Establish a vision for the Non-Financial Risk technology strategy in response to market, technology and business trends, in line with regulatory expectations and the Bank’s IT, data and innovation strategy and standards.
  • Manage planning, execution, supervision and review of Non-Financial Risk systems and (IT) governance/processes.
  • Respond to stakeholder requests (I&ORM/SIM/Compliance/Audit) to improve or develop NFR infrastructure, processes and data.
  • Lead NFR program implementations, including requirements for replacement of AGRC (Risk and compliance) tooling, implementation of new privacy regulations and implementation of OneForecast (budgeting and forecasting tool).
  • Manage and control daily processes, controls and IT operations; maintain a strong control framework to ensure controlled and stable operations.
  • Support IT for NFR frameworks and controls on regulatory implementation to ensure continuous monitoring and evidenced adherence to policies and regulations.
  • Align priorities, capacity allocation and skill-sets across the value chain in cooperation with stakeholders.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Master in IT, Legal, Business Administration or a comparable degree in a related field of study.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant financial services experience, including experience managing large teams and change or IT transformation programs.
  • Experience supporting NFR processes and implementing new techniques and approaches.
  • Experience with regulatory change implementation.

Technical and core skills

  • Expertise or strong working knowledge of banking and Non-Financial Risk management disciplines.
  • Solid grasp of Risk Management processes supporting NFR, Compliance and Legal functions, including control, business priorities, regulatory reporting, issues and risks.
  • Solid understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and their impact on the Bank.
  • Change management knowledge and IT knowledge.
  • Strong communication, influencing and execution capabilities.

Working environment & key relationships

  • Reports to Head of Finance and Risk Business Grids.
  • Direct reports: Lead Product Owner, Product Owners, Senior Business Developers; indirect reports: Business Developers.
  • Key relationships include I&ORM (including BCM), SIM, Compliance, Legal/Corporate Office, I&T, Internal Audit, DFC and first-line fraud handling departments (P&C units).

Benefits

  • Gross monthly salary: €9,257 - €13,224 (based on a 36-hour work week; salary shown includes vacation pay and benefit budget).
