Our Stablecoins & Payments team is seeking an experienced product leader to join our mission to enable companies across the world to scale financial applications on our stablecoin stack. Our team empowers any business to innovate with stablecoins with a powerful suite of APIs that unlocks stablecoin use cases. In this role, you’ll lead a team while working towards enabling faster money movement, more efficient cross-border payments, and global payment acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Own multiple areas and/or one large complex area that impacts multiple teams and metrics
• Develop solutions to problems by collaborating and leading across regions, product areas, and functions as needed
• Drive the entire product lifecycle (launches, maintenance, and retirement) in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Ruthlessly balance and prioritize across all stakeholder objectives
• Identify and validate new opportunities (user-based, strategic, business, etc)
• Develop multi-year strategies and roadmaps around with high business impact and acumen

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, including B2B experience
• Experience building API products
• 3 years of experience taking products from conception to launch
• Experience working with, balancing needs, and maintaining strong relationships across a wide variety of stakeholders
• Experience navigating and influencing senior leadership across multiple functions
• Demonstrated ability in working with a high degree of business and technical complexity across a broad product portfolio
• Demonstrated ability to ship a holistic product experience without “shipping the org chart”
• Aptitude for learning and ability to ramp quickly on new and potentially complicated domains
• Demonstrated passion for cryptocurrency, financial markets, and the Coinbase mission

Nice to haves

• Experience in stablecoins and/or web3 crypto (custody, wallets, etc.)
• 3 years of experience in software development or engineering
• 1-2 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical leadership
