Responsibilities

  • Productize the feature launch process to clearly and effectively reach the audience and drive adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with content, brand, communications, and community teams to create the defining category of knowledge discovery.
  • Obsess over every user communication, key positioning statement, and marketing copy to make Perplexity accessible to non-technical audiences and new-to-AI users.
  • Own all external user touch points via email, implementing lifecycle marketing practices and simplifying complex concepts.
  • Lead vertical campaigns to bring specific use cases to life (for example: cooking to coding).

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working at a fast-paced consumer technology company.
  • Proven track record shipping many features and driving adoption from launches.
  • Strong taste and proven ability in positioning novel technology for broad audiences.
  • Owner mentality: able to move fast, get hands dirty, and operate effectively under aggressive timelines in a 0-to-1 environment.
  • Creative with the ability to generate ideas and execute with precision and urgency.
  • Ability to influence product strategy through a deep understanding of customers and the competitive environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Cash compensation range: $175,000 - $225,000 per year.
  • Equity: Equity may be part of the total compensation package.
