Groq delivers fast, efficient AI inference. Our LPU-based system powers GroqCloud™, giving businesses and developers the speed and scale they need. From our Bay Area roots to our growing global presence, we are on a mission to make high performance AI compute more accessible and affordable. When real-time AI is within reach, anything is possible. Build fast.

Groq is redefining the AI stack from top to bottom, and we’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to help us reimagine how developers discover, use, and grow with Groq.

In this role, you’ll get the unique opportunity to experiment at scale, whether that means designing campaigns that reach millions or optimizing funnels that impact GroqCloud’s existing 2m+ developers today. Working hand-in-hand with the Head of Growth and CMO, you’ll help craft a strategy that leverages each piece of the growth toolkit (from SEM to SEO to PLG) to engage Groq’s core audiences – from awareness through conversion. You will have the freedom and responsibility to test ideas quickly, analyze results, and double down on what works. You’ll also collaborate across the company, including Marketing, Engineering, DevRel, and Sales. This team moves at the speed of AI; every week will look a little different.

Responsibilities

  • Design, run, and iterate growth experiments across the funnel that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Build and optimize campaigns at scale (awareness-to-conversion) using paid channels, SEO, product-led growth tactics, referral/partner programs, and email.
  • Manage performance marketing channels (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitter, etc.) and optimize spend and creative for acquisition and retention.
  • Instrument and analyze product and web funnels to identify opportunities and measure impact; run data-driven tests and translate results into action.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Developer Relations, Product, and Sales to identify growth opportunities and execute end-to-end programs.
  • Rapidly prototype and iterate on new channels, tactics, and creative approaches; prioritize experiments based on impact and learnings.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing roles — ideally at a technology company (developer tooling, cloud, AI/ML preferred).
  • Proven track record of driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention through data-driven experiments.
  • Familiarity across the digital growth stack, including SEO, SEM, product-led experiments and loops (PLG), referral and partner programs, and email marketing.
  • Experience managing performance marketing channels such as Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Twitter.
  • Proficiency with marketing and analytics tools (examples cited: Google Analytics, PostHog, Optimizely, Mixpanel) and CRMs/automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Zapier, n8n).
  • Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, devrel, and sales teams.
  • A builder mentality: comfortable executing end-to-end programs alongside a small, fast-moving team.
  • Strategic thinker who is eager to test new channels, tactics, and creative approaches.

Nice to have

  • A technical background (on the job or through side projects).
  • Developer marketing or developer relations experience.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other data querying.
  • Strong copywriting skills for web and social.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range (United States): $169,700 to $229,100, determined by location, skills, qualifications, experience, and internal benchmarks.
  • The base range above is specific to roles in the United States; compensation for candidates outside the USA will depend on the local market.
  • Position includes equity and benefits as part of a comprehensive compensation package.
