We are looking for enthusiastic and all-round Platform Engineers (infrastructure) to join our dynamic team in the Amsterdam region. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to contribute across various IT areas and expand their expertise in a supportive environment.

Your Job

We are looking for talented experts in Backup & Restore solutions to join our team. You will have the opportunity to develop and manage robust, tailor-made Backup & Restore solutions for our business environment. You'll implement and optimize storage systems using leading technologies such as NAS, SAN, and S3. Additionally, you'll play a key role in managing and enhancing virtual environments through VMware, ensuring our Linux systems are efficient and secure.

We believe in the power of automation. Therefore, you'll have the chance to streamline and optimize processes through effective scripting.

Working Environment

This is a local position in the Amsterdam region, and working on-site is required. Unfortunately, we are not considering remote candidates at this time.

Your Profile

• Proven experience with enterprise-level Backup & Restore solutions.
• Solid understanding of storage technologies (NAS, SAN, S3).
• Hands-on experience with VMware and Linux systems.
• Strong scripting skills for automation and process improvement.
• A proactive and eager-to-learn mindset.
• Ability to thrive in an Agile environment, utilizing the Scrum methodology.
• Willingness to take initiative and influence your work processes.

We Are Offering

• The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
• The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
• Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
• Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
• Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
• An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
