Responsibilities

  • Conduct sell-side fixed income research for institutional investors and large issuers.
  • Focus on analysis of bank covered bonds.
  • Model bank balance sheets and regulatory data for use in valuing fixed income securities.
  • Support senior research team members on ad-hoc analysis and projects.
  • Participate in team activities within Financial Markets Research (part of Group Economics).

Requirements

  • Currently a MSc student or in the final year of a BSc in Economics, Finance, or a related study.
  • At the top of your year (strong academic performance).
  • Demonstrable interest in financial products and markets, preferably fixed income (or equities).
  • Financial modelling skills.
  • Proficient written and spoken English.
  • Able to start as soon as possible.
