Airbnb is seeking an iOS engineer to build delightful user experiences across the hosting journey. The role focuses on tools that enable hosts to onboard, manage, and merchandise their listings efficiently on mobile, collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and other partners to deliver high-quality iOS products used by millions of users.

Responsibilities

  • Build solutions to support hosts when creating and managing stays and experiences on the Airbnb mobile app.
  • Design and deliver high-quality iOS features in collaboration with Product, Design, Data Science, and engineering partners.
  • Use cutting-edge iOS technologies including Swift, SwiftUI and GraphQL, and leverage server-driven UI frameworks.
  • Maintain quality standards to ensure high performance and availability of client-side platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee timely delivery and proper measurement of new features.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience shipping one or more Swift apps, ideally currently available in the Apple App Store.
  • Personal projects demonstrating technical excellence and product sense.
  • Solid engineering and coding skills, including understanding of basic data structures, asynchronous programming, and automation and testing best practices.
  • Ability to work outside of comfort zone and motivation for personal growth.
  • Interest in innovations within the mobile industry.

Location & Work Policy

  • This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed with your manager.
  • Candidates must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity (some states are excluded).
  • Offices: United States.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay range: $157,000 — $180,600 USD (base pay depends on factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands).
  • This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
