The User Economy team focuses on initiatives that enable users to earn money through Reddit products such as Awards, Premium, Collectible Avatars, and more, reshaping the creator ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to execute product and business strategies.
- Lead full development lifecycle: design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Review code and design documents, provide feedback on product specifications and mocks.
- Contribute to team standards, improve developer workflows, recommend best practices, and mentor engineers.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision making for iOS development.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years professional experience in iOS application development.
- Proficiency with Swift and Xcode.
- Experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI.
- Familiarity with architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVC, or VIPER.
- Understanding iOS testing principles and frameworks.
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and handling data persistence.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: innovative, self-directed, action-biased in fast-paced environments.
