For our Application Support squad, we are in search for an IT Chapter Lead with IT application DevOps experience to help us develop, maintain and improve our IT application landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Guide your chapter according to the common purpose you will set; coach and develop fellow engineers to get the best out of them and yourself every day.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, development and improvements of the team’s delivery.
  • Play a crucial role in the development of the chapter members you will be responsible for.
  • Be part of the MT of the IT Services Supercircle.
  • Lead and manage the IT operations team, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and career development.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and enterprise applications.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems through effective monitoring, maintenance, and support strategies.
  • Develop and implement IT operational policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate with other IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration and support for various IT initiatives and projects.
  • Manage IT incident and problem management processes, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of IT security measures, ensuring compliance with security standards and other requirements.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of IT operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and support.
  • Lead IT operations projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and the implementation of new technologies.
  • Prepare and manage the IT operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the IT support field, including at least 3 years of people management.
  • Service mentality and passion for working in an innovative team.
  • Fast learner, follows trends in the area and is ready to apply new technologies and solutions.
  • Passionate and ambitious about personal and professional growth.
  • Entrepreneurial work style; willing to step outside the walls of the role to drive innovative thinking and practice.
  • Expected experience/skills include: IT application support, DevOps experience, automation, monitoring, incident & problem management, IT operations (servers, networks, storage, enterprise applications), IT security awareness, vendor management, system upgrades and migrations, and leadership/people management.

Compensation

  • Wage (gross): 3.400 EUR/month (minimum salary component). By legal requirement the employer provides the basic wage component (minimum salary). Final financial conditions will be discussed and negotiated at the personal interview, but will not be less than the above minimum salary component.

Working hours & Location

  • Time type: Full time.
  • Daily working time: 7 hrs 45 min (instead of standard 8 hrs).
  • Location: Bratislava. Flexible working hours and work from home are offered.
