Responsibilities
- Responsible for defining the vision for ING’s core treasury cash and liquidity applications as well as payment operation utilities, reporting directly to the CIO PSS.
- Leading the delivery by agile teams, working closely with the CIO PSS, product area leads, and IT Leads.
- Steering roughly 100 people and working with the larger organization, engaging tech teams and stakeholders across many countries.
- Responsible for the development and craftsmanship of the engineering teams, managing sourcing strategy across countries.
- Defining and implementing the area's IT delivery strategy, identifying and adopting changes relevant to Global Treasury and payment operations.
- Managing end-to-end tech delivery of the area’s capabilities in collaboration with Architecture and Product Area Leads.
- Operating highly productized services from operations, finance, risk, and security perspectives with top-notch incident management.
- IT custodianship of strategic global liquidity and payments operations applications.
- Ensuring predictable delivery of squads and high-quality service standards.
- Nurturing a ‘zero outage’ culture and reliable operation of IT assets.
- Stakeholder management and contribution to quarterly business reviews.
- Providing technical leadership and growing craftsmanship with an emphasis on Agile customer-centric software development.
- Managing and growing Chapter leads and technical people.
- Optimizing offshore build setups with SSI partner and IBSS.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of IT management experience for high-critical applications.
- Managing managers experience is a plus.
- Knowledge in the field of Payments is desirable.
- Experience in setting a vision and translating it to a delivery organization.
- Experience in supporting and rolling out software at scale.
- Skilled in working with diverse stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Comfortable working internationally within virtual teams and interacting with global stakeholders.
