Responsibilities
- Lead the charge in defining and rolling out IT continuity processes across ING’s global tech ecosystem.
- Design and implement global standards for IT continuity planning, disaster recovery (DR) testing, ransomware recovery, and data restoration.
- Collaborate globally with SRE teams, enterprise architects, and engineers to embed resilience into every layer of our tech stack.
- Innovate and evolve continuity practices to stay ahead of emerging threats and technologies.
- Drive consistency in disaster recovery strategies across datacenters, cloud platforms, and service providers.
- Educate and empower engineers with training, documentation, and best practices to build a culture of resilience.
- Own the expertise — be the go-to authority on IT continuity within ING.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of experience in software engineering, IT operations, or architecture roles.
- Deep understanding of resilience engineering, business continuity management (BCM), and IT continuity in complex tech environments.
- Hands-on experience with developing and testing IT continuity plans, recovery exercises, and implementing IT risk controls.
- Broad technical knowledge across the stack—from infrastructure to CI/CD pipelines and observability tooling.
- Passion for problem-solving, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Skills in PowerBI, data analytics, and Python.
