NVIDIA is hiring an Architecture Lead to drive the development of datacenter solutions bringing together industry leading CPU, GPU, and Networking technologies. Responsibilities
- Drive day to day execution of chip architecture for NVIDIA's innovative NVLink Fusion platform
- Develop, evaluate, review and refine architectural and microarchitectural solutions on bus protocols, networking protocols, security, power management and performance
- Understand the product impact of architectural decisions across multiple dimensions including performance, power, resiliency, programmability, security, and schedule. Own the architectural tradeoff process
- Work with teams throughout the company (Design, Implementation, Software, Circuit, Thermal, Platform, Operations, Marketing, etc...) implementing and guiding cross-team solutions to achieve product targets
- Analyze and explain the advantages of NVIDIA chips and guide customers, and internal/external partners to extract the most performance from our chips
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of relevant work experience focused on CPU, GPU and high performance architectures
- Experience building complex microarchitectural structures and working with industry standard components/protocols for compute, fabric, memory, and attached devices
- Understanding of the performance, power and security implications of microarchitectural features
- Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
- A drive to continuously learn and expand architectural and microarchitectural breadth and depth
- Experience negotiating solutions across design, verification, PD, and IP teams
