As Lead Business Developer DFC for Transaction Monitoring you will play a critical role in shaping the ICS Transaction Monitoring landscape further. The role focuses on driving long-term strategic change to mitigate client integrity risks and improving TM capabilities to a “Champions League” level. You will operate at the intersection of Product, Operations, Compliance and IT and work in a dynamic environment that enables near-real time monitoring and future capabilities like machine learning and AI.
Responsibilities
- Lead change processes at a strategic level to mitigate Client Integrity risks.
- Be responsible for specific transaction monitoring (TM) policies and adherence.
- Own and drive the Feedback Loop process to distribute TM insights across the organisation.
- Promote and internally sell new functionality, technology and political decisions (pre-sales mentality).
- Own TM business and data strategies.
- Execute the Risk Based Approach (RBA) for TM based on iterations/updates of the SIRA.
- Assess problems and challenges in a risk-based way and stay in control of remediation and decisions.
- Support growth of yourself and others; cultivate a culture of Courage, Care and Collaboration.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience, of which at least 4 years related to FEC policy/regulations and Transaction Monitoring.
- Wide experience and knowledge of Transaction Monitoring, SIRA, KYC/CDD, Client Monitoring, Risk Based Approach and WWFT/FATF.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English; able to convey complex ideas clearly to senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lead complex programmes and foster innovation and challenge the status quo.
- Resilience, adaptability, ownership and strong stakeholder management skills.
Working environment
- You will work where Product, Operations, Compliance and IT intersect. The TM Strategy team sits under Client Integrity and mitigates AML, Sanctions and TF risks related to the WWFT.
- The organisation aims for an effective, robust TM landscape working near-real time and ready for capabilities like Machine Learning modelling and AI.
- Location: Diemen (hybrid working culture, typically 2 days in Diemen).
Salary & Hours
- Gross monthly salary: € 6.793 - € 9.704 per month (based on a 36-hour work week). This equates to approximately € 81,516 - € 116,448 per year.
- The gross monthly salary displayed is based on a 36-hour work week.
- Working hours: 36-40 hours per week (salary quoted is based on 36 hours).
