This position focuses on applying software development skills to real-world cloud security compliance challenges using automation and AI. The Lead Certifications Engineer role supports scaling an automated, data-driven Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) process, collaborating with Security, IT, Product, and Engineering teams to build tools and automation for compliance operations.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automation for GRC processes, aligning metrics over time
- Drive automation of evidence generation, collection, and reporting across teams
- Automate infrastructure (IaC), documentation (DaC), and policy (PaC) as code
- Use AI, programming, and scripting to reduce manual effort in recurring security tasks such as user access reviews, evidence collection, policy reviews, and change management
- Recommend and implement continuous improvements for process efficiency and compliance
- Support certification and compliance audit operations team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information security, IT, Compliance, or related field; Master's preferred
- 12+ years experience in information security and compliance, overseeing compliance programs or certification lifecycles
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, Go and scripting in Python
- Experience implementing GRC tooling (e.g., LogicGate, Auditboard, ServiceNow)
- Demonstrated impactful GRC implementation experience
- Ability to source and cultivate the right data to satisfy control requirements
- Background in Data & Process Engineering
- Proven skill with Data Visualization tools like PowerBI and Tableau

NVIDIA offers a competitive salary based on location and experience, equity, and benefits. The salary range for Level 5 is $192,000 to $304,750 USD per year, and Level 6 is $232,000 to $368,000 USD per year.
