Details

We are seeking a Lead Post-Silicon Validation Engineer within the GPU Engineering Team to help drive development of future GPUs used in 3D graphics, deep learning, HPC, and automotive markets.

NVIDIA has continuously reinvented itself over two decades. Our invention of the GPU in 1999 fueled the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI β€” the next era of computing. NVIDIA is a "learning machine" that constantly evolves by adapting to new opportunities that are hard to solve, that only we can tackle, and that matter to the world. This is our life’s work, to amplify human imagination and intelligence!

Responsibilities

  • Manage and help lead post-silicon bringup, characterization, and productization of the memory system for NVIDIA's GPU products.
  • Develop, qualify, and work on compliance of memory system software and firmware.
  • Serve as primary contact for internal and external customers and DRAM vendors regarding silicon memory issues.
  • Contribute throughout the GPU development cycle from concept, Plan of Record, Architecture, Micro-architecture, design, validation, physical design, to tape out.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  • 12+ years of proven experience with at least three years working with memory systems in the lab.
  • Direct experience in taking an SoC/GPU from concept to production.
  • Experience with DRAM and high-speed DRAM interfaces like HBM, GDDR, and LPDDR, including timing, analog, and digital requirements.
  • Collaboration with design and verification teams in Pre-Silicon phase to define features needed for smooth bringup and productization.
  • Experience in Post-Silicon phase bringing GPU from initial power-on through production.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand top issues in complex data.
  • Decision-making ability considering multiple factors.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and technical communication skills.

Ways to Stand Out

  • Experience working with DRAM vendors to debug post-silicon issues and drive solutions.
  • Proven record in implementing processes and methodologies.
  • SystemC or C++ development skills or relevant programming experience.

Benefits

  • Competitive salaries with a base range from 192,000 USD to 368,000 USD.
  • Eligibility for equity and additional benefits.
  • Inclusive and diverse work environment.
  • Opportunity to work with talented teams advancing GPU and AI technology.
