Do you like to ensure a secure, compliant, and user-friendly Authentication capability to our consumers, as a senior Product Owner who leads more than just the product? Then we're looking for you! You will be end-to-end responsible for ensuring we offer a safe Authentication capability that is consumed according to the standards and guidelines we set, and you will be able to monitor this and steer the organization. Responsibilities

• Enhance Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities and increase usage and coverage within the organization.
• Act as an Identity and Access expert steering the organization to adopt safe and easy services complying with standards.
• Serve as a functional leader and authority on the Authentication capability.
• Drive improvements in ways of working within the I&A grid, advancing the Authentication Capability.
• Use knowledge of complex IT environments, Identity and Access Management, IT audit, and banking channels to increase compliance and reduce cyber risk.
• Own the strategic role in the I&A grid; develop and translate vision into a comprehensive roadmap for product and service development.
• Stay updated on Identity and Access Management, IT infrastructure, and online banking developments.
• Share knowledge with colleagues and peers.

Requirements

Hard Skills:

• 8+ years experience in Identity and Access Management and complex IT environments.
• Strong understanding of Authentication methods and technologies (e.g., MFA, SSO, FIDO, step-up, risk-based authentication).
• 3+ years experience in functional leadership roles demonstrating authority without formal hierarchical power.
• 5+ years as a Senior Product Owner with a proven track record in strategic roles.
• Experience and good understanding of relevant directives and legislation such as DORA, AI Act.

Soft Skills:

• Vision and strategic planning skills to develop actionable roadmaps.
• Relationship management skills; ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Proactive with excellent communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Relevant certifications like CISA and CISSP.
• Good security knowledge of IT layers such as operating systems, network infrastructure, and databases.
• Experience in creating IAM policy standards and guidelines.
• Knowledge of banking products and processes.

Working Environment

• Home office is in Amstelveen, Netherlands.
• Part of the Workforce Enablement & Control team under ABN AMRO CISO’s Identity and Access Grid.
• Team includes Product Owners, Domain Experts, Functional Specialists, and Data Analysts.
• Collaborates with Workforce IT delivery for technical robustness and functional requirements fulfillment.
