The Silicon Solutions Group (SSG) at NVIDIA is a multi-functional team focused on architecture, design, marketing, and productization for markets like Gaming, Datacenters, Servers, Automotive, and Embedded.
Design for Productization (DFP) is a part of SSG dedicated to SOL methodology, design, testplan, and tools to enable, test, and deploy new chip features efficiently across teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop testability features for Speed, Timing, and Reliability from the ground up.
- Drive methodology and design for testing and deploying new hardware features, including tool development to ensure SOL and quality standards across different levels from datacenter to chip.
- Create productization processes and methodologies to guide teams in characterizing, testing, and releasing state-of-the-art products, specifying and improving critical metrics.
- Prototype and optimize features on pre-production silicon, focusing on speed, performance, power, yield, and quality.
- Guide silicon-facing teams through feature validation and productization bringup.
- Analyze silicon results, provide design feedback, and manage feature roadmaps for NVIDIA products.
- Collaborate with various teams including System Architecture, PDE, Application Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Operations.
Requirements
- MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in hardware engineering related roles.
- Experience in CPU/GPU/SOC NPI bringup focused on methodologies and testplans.
- Familiarity with silicon bringup, tuning related to timing, speed, reliability, and power.
- Knowledge of STA timing closure, circuit design, noise characterization, product binning, and performance/power optimization.

Salary and Benefits
The base salary range is $168,000 to $310,500 USD annually, depending on location, experience, and role comparisons. Candidates are also eligible for equity and benefits.
