Airbnb creates opportunities for millions of hosts to build a business, develop connections with guests and hosts, and positively impact local communities. The Community team keeps hosts at the center of everything we do and fosters connection, development, and feedback-driven product and policy decisions.

Role overview

Airbnb is seeking a strategic and detail-driven Learning Experience (LX) Content Production Lead to manage end-to-end planning, creative production, and cross-functional delivery of educational content and experiences for Airbnb Hosts. This role sits at the intersection of creative design, production excellence, and program management, and supports host development across the journey—from onboarding and quality-building to long-term engagement and recognition.

You will partner closely with content designers, learning strategists, product teams, marketing, external vendors, and cross-functional partners to deliver educational tools at scale. The role requires translating learning objectives into production plans and building systems that scale globally while ensuring craft, accessibility, and brand fidelity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution for scalable host education content across mediums including in-product education, articles, workshops, toolkits, interactive experiences, and video.
  • Ensure craft excellence so that final deliverables are grounded in insight, beautifully executed, and behaviorally effective.
  • Build and manage production systems, timelines, release plans, and team workflows to deliver high-quality educational assets on time and within budget.
  • Source and manage creative partners, junior designers, and vendors (photographers, videographers, producers, editors, localizers), defining scopes and managing execution.
  • Collaborate with LX strategy leads, Host community, and cross-functional partners in product, marcom, legal, data and policy to align outputs to strategic goals and host needs.
  • Translate learning objectives and strategic ideas into actionable production plans, connecting strategic intent with executional rigor.
  • Lead the creative production process across ideation, prototyping, iteration, and detailed production execution; oversee creative and art direction with XFN partners in marketing and brand.
  • Ensure fidelity to brand, learning goals, and accessibility standards for a global audience throughout production.
  • Manage and prioritize feedback from senior stakeholders and executive leadership with effective and timely communication.
  • Drive continuous improvement of LX systems, tooling, and ways of working to scale education content globally and sustainably.

Requirements / Expertise

  • 12+ years of experience in program management, creative production, or content operations—ideally in tech, education, or media environments.
  • Proven experience managing multiple complex creative or educational content programs with many moving parts, partners, and deadlines.
  • Deep fluency in content production processes across formats including workshops, classes, instructional videos, graphics, interactive experiences, and digital toolkits.
  • Technical and operational fluency with delivery partners in scaled ops, CMS and LMS tools, generative AI tools, and localization workflows.
  • Exceptional communicator, project steward, and decision-maker—calm under pressure, clear on priorities, and tuned in to team health.
  • Highly organized, detail-obsessed, hands-on leader known for managing processes that ensure projects run successfully and achieve high craft across outputs.
  • Experience in behavior change, learning sciences, adult learning, or product education is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with peer-to-peer platform audiences (Airbnb Hosts) or Airbnb’s brand is a bonus.
  • Figma expertise preferred.
  • A current portfolio of work is required for each applicant.
