Information about the position
As a Litigation Director, you will be responsible for litigation matters of the Vinted group and you will be part of the legal function.
In this position, you’ll
- Manage and drive strategy for litigation and pre-litigation matters on regulatory, consumer affairs, platform regulations, content-related matters, privacy and commercial/contractual;
- Advise management stakeholders on litigation strategy and risks;
- Develop creative approaches to managing legal risks and resolving disputes;
- Work with and coordinate outsourced legal counsels in all of our jurisdictions;
- Work closely with business teams (such as Product, PR, Customer Support, and other teams to identify and address relevant legal risks);
- Build processes (e.g. training, guidelines, etc.) with other legal peers in order to support legal compliance across the company.
About you
- Qualification in one bar association
- An experienced lawyer with a litigation background in a law firm and/or as an in-house counsel (commercial, platform and consumer-related ideally)
- Experience managing multiple high priority projects simultaneously
- Experience managing high stakes, complex litigation
- Experience dealing with authorities (request for information, etc)
- Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English
- Platform-related litigation experience is a strong plus
- The skills, willingness, and initiative to own legal issues across many different jurisdictions
- Proactivity and attention to detail
- Passionate about technology-driven businesses

The salary range for this position is € 6,508 - € 8,808 gross per month.
