The Ads Measurement Modeling team is dedicated to evaluating and improving advertising effectiveness to drive advertiser success. This team plays a critical role in building machine learning solutions that help advertisers understand the value Reddit delivers to their business. As the Manager for Measurement Modeling, you will lead the team responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning models and systems to tackle complex challenges in ad signals, identity, and privacy, such as modeled conversions, probabilistic user matching, identity resolution, and utility enhancement modeling.

Responsibilities

• Define Technical Vision & Strategy: Define the technical vision and long-term roadmap for Measurement Modeling, aligning cutting-edge AI solutions with Reddit’s ads product and business objectives.
• Team Leadership & Development: Coach and support the development of your team, constantly seeking opportunities to grow their skills and impact.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Work with cross-functional partners from across the company to identify key areas of opportunity, set expectations, and communicate your team’s work.
• Technical Execution & Delivery: Oversee the design, development, and optimization of machine learning pipelines and systems.
• Platform & Infrastructure Collaboration: Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to chart a path to the next generation of AI-powered solutions for Reddit.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain high standards for system performance, reliability, and efficiency in alignment with customer needs and responsible AI principles.
• Recruiting & Growth: Partner with recruiting to attract, interview, and hire diverse and talented machine learning engineers, growing a world-class team.

Requirements

• Experience Leading ML Teams: 2+ years managing high-performing machine learning teams.
• Deep ML Expertise: Hands-on experience working with ML models and deploying them in large-scale production.
• Technical Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of deep learning, transformer-based architectures, and AI model development.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and communicate clear technical strategy that supports company objectives and internal customer needs.
• Impact-Driven Mindset: Passion for scalable, well-designed, responsible AI solutions that drive business value.
• Exceptional Communication & Collaboration: Ability to communicate complex technical topics effectively to diverse audiences and build strong cross-functional relationships.
