Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior management for team vision and development
• Lead and manage a team of experienced compiler engineers working on compiler technology for C, C++, Fortran, OpenMP, and OpenACC, optimizers, and LLVM code generation
• Establish team objectives to meet schedules and goals
• Groom, mentor, and guide early-career engineers to grow the next generation of leaders
• Establish and evolve policies and procedures affecting the immediate organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, ECE, or related industry experience (Masters or PhD preferred)
• 10+ years of overall software engineering experience, with 4 years of hands-on management/team lead experience
• Strong software design fundamentals and deep understanding of compilers and programming languages
• Knowledge of software engineering principles
• Excellent communication skills to interface across the organization at all levels
• Leadership skills to mentor

Ways to Stand Out

• Contributing to LLVM or other open source projects
• Familiarity with Fortran, C++, OpenMP, and OpenACC standards
• Knowledge of compiler internals from front end to run-time environment

Compensation

The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 356,500 USD, determined by location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions. Equity and benefits are also offered.
