We are looking for a software engineering manager to lead our verification efforts for compilers for the machine learning domain. Around the world, leading commercial and academic organizations are revolutionizing AI, scientific and engineering simulations, and data analytics, using data centers powered by GPUs. Applications of these technologies include LLMs, Computer Vision, Encryption, autonomous vehicles and countless others. Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow your compiler verification team and be responsible for the planning and execution of projects as well as the quality, and performance of our compilers.
  • Work closely with NVIDIA compiler development teams to define test requirements, scope projects, allocate resources and monitor progress.
  • Interact with NVIDIA teams to understand their use cases and requirements. Define and track key objectives, and champion process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in software classification and qualification processes.

Requirements

  • PhD or MSc degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, or related science or engineering field is preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of overall experience with high-performance software in a development or test role.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership/supervisory/management role (i.e. recruiting, training, mentoring and leading software engineering teams).
  • Strong fundamentals in software testing.
  • Hands-on experience testing software for functionality and performance using C++ and Python.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation habits.
  • Experience with agile software development practices using project management tools such as JIRA.
