About the Buyer, Supply & Member Lifecycle Area
Buyer, Supply & Member Lifecycle Analytics Engineering operates as a centralized team of Analytics Engineers that supports three domains:
- Buyer – focused on the buyer journey, including search, catalog browsing, homepage and item page experiences.
- Supply – centered on the selling experience, such as creating listings, managing attributes, categories and uploading items.
- Member Lifecycle (MLC) – responsible for how we engage users, through push notifications, subscriptions, banners, newsletters, and other CRM campaigns.
The Role
As Manager of Data Science & Analytics (DSA) for Analytics Engineering, you will act as a People Lead for all analytics engineers within the area of three domains (Buyer, Supply & Member Lifecycle). You will oversee talent development, resource allocation, and project prioritization within these domains, helping to drive data-driven decision-making and maintain high standards of delivery.
In this role, you will:
- Lead team of 5 analytics engineers and 1 lead analytics engineer, ensuring smooth collaboration.
- Drive area objectives and roadmap – you will be the key person responsible for putting together and managing quarterly team objectives and roadmap.
- Setup the team for success by setting priorities, processes, and rituals.
- Ensure Collaboration – align with all three domain’s technical vision through effective cross-team partnerships.
- Hire, onboard, develop, and support the growth of your team.
About you
- Experience leading high-performing data teams.
- Ability to lead various seniority specialists.
- Strategic vision and planning long-term initiatives.
- Ability to set priorities and evaluate trade-offs.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of aligning multiple stakeholders and leading cross-domain initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving and optimization mindset.
- Excellent written and spoken English.

The salary range for this position is € 84,500 - € 114,300 gross per year.
