NVIDIA is seeking a Systems Software Manager to grow and lead a team of software engineers focused on developing solutions for data center platforms and engaging with partners to analyze, root cause, and resolve complex issues in the systems software/firmware stack. The role sits on the NVLink team and emphasizes development of debug tools and software/firmware solutions for next-generation NVLink systems in the data center, including integration of LLMs and agentic AI into production systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a team of software engineers developing tools and software/firmware solutions for NVLink systems in data centers.
  • Provide technical direction and strategic leadership in the design, development, and deployment of debug tools using LLMs, agentic AI, and related technologies and their integration into production systems.
  • Act as the primary technical leader for developing debug features into the software stack.
  • Collaborate with software, firmware, and platform teams to direct investigation and resolution of complex issues in the software/firmware stack.
  • Align priorities across collaborators and define metrics for measuring the success of the product/team.

Requirements

  • BS+ degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of industry experience in large distributed system software development.
  • 4+ years of experience managing AI and software development teams.
  • Experience debugging functional and performance issues in complex software/firmware systems.
  • Strong technical foundation in software engineering, particularly Python, data structures, and system design.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams across architecture and firmware/hardware interfaces.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a dedication to encouraging an inclusive and diverse workplace.

Benefits

  • Base salary range: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD (determined based on location, experience, and internal pay comparisons).
