Airbnb is seeking a Manager of Technical Recruiting to lead a team of technical recruiters partnering with engineering leaders to scale Airbnb's technical functions. The role emphasizes a consultative approach, data-driven decision making, inclusivity, and building high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to support business growth.
  • Lead, inspire, and empower a high-performing team of technical recruiters to build strong candidate pipelines.
  • Oversee team success by managing prioritization, delegating responsibilities, and ensuring accountability.
  • Mentor, guide, and support the career development of Technical Recruiting team members.
  • Leverage data to continuously improve hiring processes, candidate experience, interviewing, and events.
  • Model effective leadership through collaborative interactions and sound decision-making.
  • Deliver regular data, metrics, and performance reports to keep the team and stakeholders informed.
  • Collaborate with recruiting leadership to execute strategic hiring plans.
  • Partner with leaders across technical teams, Talent Partners, and other business functions to align on headcount and workforce planning.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technical recruiting, including 2+ years managing full-cycle in-house technical recruiters.
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated passion and experience developing and leading people (mentorship, career development).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering on hiring goals and building effective recruiting strategies.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a recruiting team and remain calm during high-pressure recruiting cycles.
  • Experience driving and completing projects against timelines.

Location & Work Arrangement

  • This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed with your manager.
  • Candidates must live in a U.S. state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity (some states excluded).

Benefits & Compensation

  • Base pay range: $160,000 β€” $199,500 USD (actual base pay dependent on factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands).
  • This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
