Airbnb seeks a Measurement Lead to shape how the global Communications team measures impact and turns measurement into strategic insights. This role partners across Marketing, Advanced Analytics, Consumer Insights, Research, and Finance to define measurement strategy, integrate data sources, and produce clear, actionable reporting that demonstrates how communications drive business outcomes. The role is US - Remote Eligible (must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity) and may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a comprehensive global measurement strategy that identifies key insights to inform leadership planning.
  • Monitor team OKRs and key strategy metrics at global and country levels, ensuring consistency and accuracy across campaigns and geographies.
  • Enhance measurement capabilities to demonstrate how communications efforts drive business outcomes.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Advanced Analytics, Consumer Insights, Research, and Finance to surface insights and influence strategy.
  • Develop processes, conduct training, and provide consultations to streamline measurement tasks for communications managers.
  • Produce in-depth recurring reports (quarterly and annual), monitor proactive message pull-through, write insights for consumer, editorial, corporate, and trust & safety communications teams, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with measurement vendors to maximize platform benefits and adoption.
  • Improve measurement tools by managing integration of data sources (APIs, raw data, etc.) to create bespoke data tables and design insightful dashboards in collaboration with technical partners.

Requirements / Your Expertise

  • Minimum of 10+ years in communications with a strong focus on media monitoring, press measurement, social media, and primary research.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong presentation-building, storytelling, and data visualization skills; able to effectively share insights with leadership.
  • Detail-oriented analytical mindset; capable of drawing conclusions from complex datasets and producing digestible insights for diverse audiences.
  • Experience designing systems that enhance team coordination and efficiency.
  • Tool expertise: proficient with media monitoring tools (Onclusive, Cision, Newswhip) and social media tools (Brandwatch, Sprinklr); strong skills in writing complex Boolean searches.
  • Data skills: proficiency in SQL/Python or demonstrated ability to integrate data from multiple sources reliably is a significant plus.

Location & Working Model

  • This position is US - Remote Eligible. You must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity (some states may be excluded). The role may include occasional office work or offsites as agreed with the manager.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay range: $160,000 — $200,000 USD (actual base pay depends on factors such as experience, skills, and market). This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
