Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications and generic building blocks on the Mendix platform (versions 9, 10).
• Ensure high-quality and reusable solutions that adhere to REST design principles.
• Work on integrations with external systems via REST APIs.
• Collaborate with designers and backend specialists to create user-friendly and efficient solutions.
• Actively contribute to the ongoing professionalization of our Mendix landscape.

Working Environment

You will work for the Development Automation department. Within Development Automation, the goal is to deliver (low-code) application platforms in a low-ops fashion, absorbing much of the complexity involved with running a platform on a platform to achieve economy of skills and enable platform users to fully focus on delivering applications and business value.

By delivering reusable services, components, starter apps, and (CI/CD) tools, the team helps IT delivery teams accelerate their delivery while keeping the underlying platform stable, secure, and available. The environment is dynamic, international, constantly evolving, and focused on building future-proof solutions. When working from home is no longer standard, work is based in an office in Amstelveen, close to Amsterdam. English is the main language within the team and organization.

Requirements

Must-Haves

• At least 2 years of experience in Mendix development (versions 8, 9, 10).
• Minimum Intermediate Mendix certification; Advanced certification is a plus.
• Understanding of REST APIs and design principles.
• Knowledge of React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and/or (S)CSS is a plus.
• Strong focus on code quality and conceptual thinking.
• Proficiency in English.

Nice-to-Haves

• Basic knowledge of Azure (AZ-900 certification).
• Experience with identity & access management (OIDC, OAuth).
