Do you want to be part of an international team that safeguards the network security posture of ABN AMRO? Do you have a hands-on mentality and want to make an impact?
Responsibilities
- Be on the front run of Anti DDoS, WAF and API security capabilities for the bank
- Responsible for configuration, tuning, operationalizing the web protection capabilities of the bank
- Develop and review network security architectures and designs
- Provide consultancy on various network security related topics
- Provide operational support for firewall changes approvals
- Collaborate with various platform and application engineering teams, share knowledge and provide network security guidance and advice
- Together with the team and product owner plan and refine the teamβs product increments
Working environment
You will work for the CISO department, which connects interests of clients, society and the bank. CISO employs approximately 500 colleagues globally responsible for the bank's information security. The environment is dynamic, international, evolving, and innovative. When office presence is required, it is in Amstelveen, close to Amsterdam. English is mainly spoken.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience
- Good understanding and proven experience of network security technology in Anti DDoS, WAF implementation, API security, and development
- Experience with network infrastructure in large organizations
- Hands-on experience managing and implementing Anti DDoS, WAF, API security, and DNSSec measures
- Hands-on experience with NGFWs
- Experience with complex on-prem and cloud infrastructure
- Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
- Familiarity with industry best practices, standards, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27000 series, CIS controls)
- Knowledge and experience in microsegmentation projects
- Good understanding and experience of cloud solutions and cloud network security, focusing on hybrid cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure and VMware
- Basic understanding of managing internet domain names and DNS including security implementations like CAA, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and DNSSec
Preferred:
- Good communication skills with stakeholders at different levels
- Information security professional qualifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, Microsoft AZ-305, Microsoft SC-100
- Experience in complex regulated or enterprise environments
- Experience with audit related issues
- Knowledge and hands-on experience analyzing large data with Power BI
- Desire for continuous improvement and curiosity
