NVIDIA's deep learning platform is widely used across academic institutions, start-ups, and industry. This role focuses on customer enablement of NVIDIA enterprise datacenter products in workstation and server applications. The position requires working with OEM partners to resolve hardware, firmware, and software issues and providing both offsite and onsite support. Travel to partner sites (domestic and international) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with OEM customers on design, validation and production of datacenter platforms.
  • Resolve system integration issues related to thermal, mechanical, electrical, PCIe and GPU interconnect interfaces including out-of-band management services.
  • Support customers through bring-up, validation and production issues; engage partners via conferencing tools and provide onsite support as needed.
  • Work directly with NVIDIA customers to analyze data, reproduce errors, resolve issues, or escalate as necessary.
  • Interact with customers via conference calls and face-to-face meetings; communicate procedures, results, and recommendations clearly and succinctly.
  • Perform hardware debug using oscilloscopes and analyzers to qualify, validate and solve NVIDIA products for customer systems.
  • Track and file new bugs and reproduce issues as needed.
  • Travel up to 25% (domestic and international locations such as China, Taiwan, Mexico).

Requirements

  • Recently graduated with a BS or higher in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Systems Engineering.
  • Relevant experience supporting enterprise datacenter platforms for x86 or ARM architectures.
  • Understanding of x86 and ARM system architecture for server design including BMC, security and out-of-band management.
  • Familiarity with datacenter hardware design, out-of-band telemetry, diagnostics and cluster management best practices.
  • Capable of excelling in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment.
  • Professional-level interpersonal skills and ability to adjust communication to the technical level of the audience.
  • Proficient in Linux distributions, including Python programming and bash scripting.

Benefits

  • Base salary range by level: Level 1: 96,000 USD - 161,000 USD; Level 2: 108,000 USD - 184,000 USD. The base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions.
