The difference you will make

Airbnb is seeking a dynamic and experienced Payments Business Operations & Planning Lead to be responsible for supporting the successful management and delivery of our end-to-end governance processes and support the delivery of our larger strategy via roadmap management. This strategic role will serve as a critical integration point across the entire Payments business.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the strategic day-to-day operation and coordination of all planning, processes & procedures necessary to govern the Payments business
  • Serve as the administrator, subject matter expert and key collaborator for all tooling, delivering enhancements that help simplify and streamline our ways of working
  • Develop and maintain all training, process and procedure documentation
  • Manage the roadmap for all Payments efforts to enable a single source of truth reflective of all related work and resources, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Engineering, Product Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, Design and more to understand and review all priorities
  • Ensure accurate reporting on metrics, key results and other important items to provide visibility and transparency across levels
  • Support the development and delivery of annual strategic planning
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of key readouts and updates to senior leadership
  • Oversee select strategic projects or initiatives across the organization based on business need; assist with the development and delivery of strategic business updates

Requirements / Your Expertise

  • 5+ years experience in leading operations for a business or product function within a major organization
  • Experience in Payments, Risk, Compliance or Regulatory industry is strongly desired
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, processes & methodologies
  • Experience with objective & key result (OKR) frameworks and capacity planning are a must
  • Administrator/developer level expertise with project management and reporting tools (e.g., Airtable, Asana, JIRA, etc.)
  • History of managing significant programs and projects, ensuring execution of major initiatives and priorities within planned timelines and resources
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills and an ability to communicate clearly and effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization, including at executive levels

Your location

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. While the position is Remote Eligible, you must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.

Pay Range: $129,000β€”$152,000 USD
